How Custom Photography Works
Your Experience
The full-service custom photography experience I offer is like none other. I pride myself on getting to know each one of my clients and take the time to design a personalized custom session for each client. I invest a great deal of time and talent in your images through planning, setting up the studio, shooting, editing, custom design/ordering appointment, and blogging your session.
~ Before Booking ~
I would love to invite you to my studio for a no-obligation pre-consult before you book with me! It gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little, see how adorable my studio is and go over pricing, packages and view the products I offer! We go over what to expect at the maternity and newborn sessions. I do have a nice collection of beautiful maternity gowns for my clients to wear and you are more than welcome to try some things on while you are here. The full line of maternity gowns will help alleviate the burden of extra shopping and worry before the session. Mothers, babies, and dads are welcome to take advantage of the clothes I offer!
~ The Session ~
Every moment of your experience is crafted with an eye toward timeless and simple portraits. All of the props in my studio are hand-picked to fit the uniqueness of my style as an artist. Keeping the focus on your sweet baby. I have everything you could possibly need. I provide soft simple wraps, bonnets, headbands and high-end knitted goods which are made specifically for newborn photography. My props are made from natural materials and are soft and non-irritating to baby’s skin. Your session will last up to 2 to 3 hours, depending on the baby!
~ After Session ~
After your photo session, I will be there to guide you through the entire process of ordering. When your images are ready we will schedule an ordering appointment to go over the all the beautiful heirloom products I offer. You will be able to view your proofs and I am there to walk you through choosing the best Art for your home. I can answer any questions you may have and will provide my expertise in product sizes and finishes.
I want you to love this whole experience! My work is 100% guaranteed!! I don’t want anyone investing in my business or photography if they don’t absolutely love the photographs. Because making photographs that will be cherished for years to come is more important to me than making a sale.
~Book Now ~
I believe in keeping things simple. A retainer fee of $200 is collected to reserve your session and 100 will be applied to your package. Once I receive your payment for your retainer fee, I will book you a tentative date. You can then expect to receive my customized newborn session guide with hints and tips for a successful session. Once the baby arrives it’s important to let me know a few days after the birth so we can confirm the exact date and time!!
