With the abundance of photographers out there I encourage you to find someone that specializes in newborn photography. Someone with training that knows how to soothe, swaddle and comfort a baby.

All professional photography involves skill, equipment, knowledge and education. But, being a newborn photographer requires addition skills and training. As newborn photographers,  it is our responsibility to make sure we are educated and have proper training while handling your baby. Newborn babies are delicate and need to be handled correctly.

Style

Choose a photographer who’s  style you love.   Make sure their work is consistant. I always suggest meeting the potential photographer. Look at their work, visit their studio  space and look at the product they offer. Is their working space sanitary and are the props and fabrics cleaned each time they are used? Make sure you feel comfortable with them and trust them with your baby. You deserve the best and you won’t regret taking a little extra time and effort before you select a photographer.

 

 

Price

I know hiring a professional photographer isn’t cheap, but you may find yourself willing to save up for such a luxury. I encourage you not to let “price” make or break the decision on which photographer to choose. Most newborn photographers range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand. Remember you are paying for the photographers professional expertise. If they seem out of your budget, inquire about a payment plan. You will be grateful in the future that you made the invest to capture your little ones earilest moments. Moments you can never get back. Invest in your memories.
