Newborn Hospital Photography

Newborn hospital photography is some of my favorites to capture. It’s those first few moments documented while you are getting acquainted with your new little one. Taking in all the new feelings your heart and mind are exploring. These moments happen so quickly and before you know it, you are on your way home and your hospital stay is a blur. The one beautiful thing about your hospital photo session is you get to relive these milestone moments over and over.

These simple portrait sessions allow for me to capture those new little fingers and toes, snuggles with daddy, tender moments with mama, and even capturing a first-time grandparent. Just as babies arrival is unpredictable, so are sessions and that is okay. We just go with the flow and capture what your baby and our circumstances allow us! We embrace the unpredictability and know I will do everything possible to create a calm and enjoyable environment while you get to know your sweet baby in front of my camera.

Sedona, is so perfect, and her parents just couldn’t stop staring, touching and snuggling this new bundle of love. Those moments are just magical! Such a special time for you and your family, one you’ll love to look back on and remember with great joy and love. Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your life with me. I truly feel honored and so excited for her newborn session in the studio.

Let’s plan your newborn hospital session!

Hospital newborn photography sessions are not about planning the perfect outfit, the perfect hair, and makeup or making sure everything is perfectly in place. (although I do have a few tips and tricks I share before our session to make it go more smoothly)  It’s about documenting the emotion and love you feel for your new family member arriving! I want you to look back at these images and remember how it felt to hold your new little one in your arms in those first few days. Or how it felt to cuddle them on your chest and feel your sweet baby relax the second they felt your heart beat from outside! These moments are raw and real and ones you will never get back. I’d love to be a part of your hospital journey.
