GOOGLE+…I’m taking the plunge!!!!

I am slowly starting to  post on Google+ and researching how it works. I don’t love Google + yet, but I hope to!!!
However, I am keeping an open mind and giving it a try.  I wanted to share with you what I found.
Google Profiles are just like your personal profile on Facebook it allows allows businesses to connect with fans.   I signed up for an account and didn’t really do much with it.  But after 30 days and 10 followers Google notified me that I was eligible for a special customized or vanity URL.  It was  that simple.
I would love it if  you would hope on over to my Google+ account and follow me!!!
Cover Photo Size:
Google+ cover photos allow for flexibility.    Google+ allows you to choose which  size you would like to make your cover:
 Recommended size: 1080 x 608
Minimum size: 480 x 270
Maximum size: 2120 x 1192
The meaning of “+1” and “following”
+1 is how you show you “LIKE” an image or a post!!!  However, your +1ing a page does not mean you are following the content of that page. It just means you are giving that content a big thumbs up. The goal is to collaborate with each other to build a supportive following on G+.  So be sure you click the “Follow” button.
What are Circles ?
Circles are an easy way to organize the people you know. It is  an amazing feature! You can invite like minded people into your circle plus your  friends and family. It makes it easy for you to share your information with just the right people.
Circle Limits: There is  a limit of 5,000 for the total number of profiles that can be included across all your circles. This includes +pages.
Communities on Google+:    You can join multiple Communities on Google+.  The options are endless.  There are so many groups to join.
Posting:  Don’t just copy and paste a link from your blog – The first thing you need to do is upload an image. Posts with an image rather than a preview normally receives much more interaction.
Hashtags – Use up to 3-4 of them. Otherwise your post starts to look both spammy and a little ugly. Keep your hash tags generic.  If you get to specific  they probably won’t have the search volume you hoped for.
Google+ Helps with SEO.
Many articles I have read seem to suggest that being active on Google+, will push your ranking higher.  Connecting with other artists or sharing  previews for your clients on Google+ can only help.  So I am encouraging you all to join in the fun!!!
Engage ~ So what does that mean
It means to take part. It means to create a discussion, share your opinion and hear what others think.

Google Plus is a great place if you want interaction. Interaction not only in the form of pluses and shares, but also in the form of people actually sharing what they think.  So why not jump in! You can find my page HERE!!!
