Professional maternity photographs are personal and I get that it’s not for everyone. I love documenting the change your body is going through. The miracle it is creating.

Your fond memories of motherhood begin before the birth of your child. This is the beginning of the new life growing inside you, your body as one with your unborn child. An experience we are blessed with for a very short time in our lives. Sometimes we may think we don’t want to capture this time. For whatever reasons we may have, this is a moment in your life you will treasure forever, even if it’s after the fact. You’ll always remember hearing your baby’s first heartbeat, the first kick, or the tiny little hiccups. But will you remember the beautiful baby bump or how gorgeous you looked?

 

I always recommend photographing maternity sessions while you’re still feeling refreshed, beautiful and excited about the joy of your new arrival!

 

 

 

how do I book a session?

If you already know your due date, now its time to book a session. Your session fee is all that is needed to secure your portrait session. To get started please click on the CONTACT PAGE.

can I book my newborn session too?

Yes, of course! And when you book your newborn session at the time of booking your maternity session, you will receive $50 off your newborn session fee.

Your due date will be added to the calendar and then when your baby arrives, I will have you contact me so we can confirm the session date.

can my husband/kids join me for the session?

Yes, all close family members are welcomed and free of any additional charge.

Here are a few styling tips for your maternity session.

–  choose solid colored clothes as it keeps the focus and the attention on your belly.

– avoid wearing busy patterns like floral prints, stripes.

– different textures can add dimension to your photos.

– sheer, lace robes are also perfect for that soft romantic look.

– avoid loose clothing – you want to accent your beautiful belly, not hide it!

– maxi dresses are very popular as well as jeans and tight blouses.

– when shooting on location, bring sandals or flip-flops with you to walk from spot to spot.

~ having your hair and make-up done by a professional will make you feel more confident.
