Motherhood and Wet Wipes

Motherhood and Wet Wipes

Meet Tiffany! Not only have I had the pleasure  photographing her and her gorgeous children. I am in awe of her and asked her to be a guest blogger. I have fallen in love with her perspective of Motherhood. This young mom is such a gifted and talented writer. She has a higher perspective on motherhood, being a wife and everything in between.

Not only is Tiffany a wife and mother of four small children. She also runs a successful coaching business. She is so motivational and inspiring!  You can follow her on Facebook , Instagram, or check out her coaching website! Tiffany loves helping women (and men too!) find their own power to be the best version of themselves. She runs monthly fitness challenge groups that help women/men balance a healthy lifestyle with all their other responsibilities! She provides an amazing Fit community for challengers who want to make a change as well as entrepreneurship for Coaches who want to build a business on top of achieving their own fitness goals.

Without further ado:

Motherhood and Wet Wipes

Sometimes it starts with a wet wipe. Protecting their hearts, I mean. The hearts that beat inside your little people.

It hit me the morning she said, “Mommy, I don’t want peanut butter and jelly for lunch today.”

“But you love PB&J, I didn’t even use honey because I know you like Jelly better?”

“I just don’t want it…Well, it’s just that every time you send me with a peanut butter sandwich “so and so” says, “you have jelly on your face!” and it makes me feel bad.”

“Hmmm…I’m so sorry. 😩😭What if I send you with a wet wipe when you have a peanut butter sandwich and you can be sure to wipe off the sticky jelly?!”

It’s the little things Mom’s have to keep track of. Like–covering my 4 year-olds ears when things are loud because loud noises bother her, remembering to let my son hold the flashlight for his bedtime story because it makes him feel capable in his 2 year-old body, and remembering the wet wipe. The wet wipe that protects a nervous Kindergartener from the unique new feelings of embarrassment.

But remember this, little is not insignificant.

So every time I remember the wet wipe–I feel like I’m doing a pretty good job.

Feel free to share–let’s remind Mom’s that even though the science project wasn’t perfect, the birthday party didn’t have a Unicorn–at least they remembered the wet wipe. 😉

Although it has been awhile since this was taken. I just had to share a sweet image from our session!  Thank you for sharing your heart and I look forward to more of your guest blogs!!!!
