What Should I Wear For My Maternity Photo Session
The most often asked question I get for a maternity photo session is …”What should I wear for my maternity portraits”?
I have a beautiful array of clothing to choose from and all my clients are welcome to wear anything I have in the studio wardrobe closet. My beautiful wardrobe alleviates the burden of extra shopping and worry before the session.
However, here are a few suggestions to bring along to your maternity photo shoot if you have them:
~ one black and one white bra and matching lace panties
~ beige /nude strapless bra and panties
~ tube/belly band and panty set
~ tank top with matching panties
~ pair of regular jeans. (they do not need to zip up)
~Men’s button shirt ~button up sweater or open sweater/cardigan
A few more suggestions to consider. Please don’t over style your hair with product or hair spray. It won’t blow properly if we use a fan. If you want to really pamper yourself you might consider having your makeup done professionally! Let me know if you are interested. I have several local makeup artists I can recommend for you!
If your partner will be in the images please have them wear a pair of jeans. He will need to bring a neutral and black shirt. Either button up, polo or t-shirt (with no logo) Or he can go shirtless.
Last but not least…if you plan on showing your belly in the images it is a good idea to come in loose clothing so that you don’t have marks on your skin.
I would love to be your photographer for this special time in your life!
The special time where you fall in love with a heartbeat! It will give you the memories of reliving that special moment every time you view your images!!!
